Manger

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. It’s a celebration of Jesus Christ birth. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. When Mary gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. When an angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds and the glory of the Lord shone around them, they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy for all people. Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born, He is Christ the Lord. For those who were following the star, find the Christ baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.  Luke 2:7-12 (NIV)

Remember, it’s not the gifts under the tree, cards placed in the mail, lights in the windows, ham dinners with family and friends, or shout of “Merry Christmas to all.”

Reason for the Season is Jesus!
