Dawn Hester is the President of Dawn Hester Photography. In her words; I picked up my first camera when I was 18 when I had joined the Air National Guard to become a military photographer. I chose photography as a career because I thought it would be cool and fun to do. With a background in the Air National Guard, I became a Scientific & Technical Photographer with the FBI. Thirty-five plus years later, I still think it’s cool and fun to do. My photography is a little bit of this, a little bit of that….” capturing what is here today and maybe gone tomorrow”. I’ve always tried to capture the beauty my eyes see and share with everyone. When I look at landscapes and nature, I see peace, calmness, and solitude.
